Our staff are everything to us.

We know it sounds cliche but our staff really are everything. Our solutions, the services we provide and new initiatives that we deliver are all a result of our talented and hard-working team.

As an employer we are innovative, flexible, make sure team have the right tools, training and opportunities for development.

For example, you can choose a high-end Mac, Windows or Linux laptop based on what works best for you. You can work in the office with great espresso, or from home (not sure about the espresso there). Perhaps a mix of home and work is best, as many companies are doing these days.

We make extensive use of video conference and collaborative apps, as well as the normal dev team tools and systems.

In terms of our core product platform, the technologies we use and what we achieve with them are leading edge. We have been interviewed a few times by Gartner on what we do with our real-time processing platform which is of great interest to them. Some companies focus on big data, others on fast data while others focus on real-time processing. We have to do all of these and have come up with a platform that achieves it. At our largest site we process over 2 billion transactions per day at a peak of around 50,000 transactions per second which is live event processing and control.
